Getting Here

From Victoria, BC Canada

via Swartz Bay Ferry (see BC Ferries for schedules & fares) Drive north on the Pat Bay Highway (#17) to the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal. Take the ferry to Fulford Harbour (Salt Spring Island). Exit the ferry, and follow Fulford-Ganges Rd. For approximately 12 km. You will enter the town of Ganges where Fulford-Ganges Rd. splits—stay to the left for Lower-Ganges Rd. Stay on Lower-Ganges Rd. For less than 0.25 km, as it parallels the waterfront. The Fishery is at 151 Lower Ganges Rd. where Lower Ganges Rd. intersects with Rainbow Rd. Look for the building with the blue tin roof on the waterside just past the flashing crosswalk signage on the right hand side.

From Vancouver & the Mainland

via Tswassen Ferry (see BC Ferries for schedules & fares) Go south on Oak St. to Highway 99. Take Highway 99 to Highway 17. Travel southwest on Highway 17 to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal. Exit the ferry via Long Harbour Rd. Stay on Long Habour Rd. until it intersects with Upper Ganges Rd. Turn left on Upper Ganges Rd. and follow until it ends at the intersection with Lower Ganges Rd. Turn left to approach town. The Fishery is at 151 Lower Ganges Rd. where Lower Ganges Rd. intersects with Rainbow Rd. Look for the building with the blue tin roof on the waterside to your left just before the flashing crosswalk signage.

Closest Private Marina: Ganges Marina
The Fishery property is adjacent to the Ganges Marina property. From the docks, climb the stairs to Lower Ganges Rd. and turn left. We are about 20 meters from the marina’s road entrance.

Public Moorage:
Ganges Government Docks (Small Craft Harbours)
Ganges has 2 government docks & one dingy dock. The Inner Harbour is located adjacent to Centennial Park. The Outer Harbour connects with the float plane & Coast Guard docks near Mouats Trading. The dingy dock is slightly north-west of the Outer Harbour dock and connects with the boardwalk behind Thrifty’s grocery store.
From the Inner Harbour/Centennial Park docks: Exit the docks and parking lot, walking straight out to the road. Turn right heading down Fulford-Ganges Rd. toward the Outer Harbour/Float plane dock. Turn left on Purvis Rd. between Glad’s Ice Cream &  Mouats Trading Co. Follow the road through the parking area as it climbs past Thrifty’s to meet Lower Ganges Rd. Turn right at Lower Ganges Rd. The Fishery is about 300m. ahead--just past the flashing crosswalk signage at 151 Lower Ganges Rd. (where Lower Ganges Rd. intersects with Rainbow Rd.).
From the Outer Harbour docks & the Dingy dock: Exit the docks. Turn right and take the boardwalk along the waterfront behind the Mouats Shopping Centre heading in a slight north-west direction. The boardwalk ends with a rise of steps in the side of the hill below Lower Ganges Rd. You will see The Fishery on the rise to your right, the building with the blue tin roof along the water. Climb the stairs to reach Lower Ganges Rd. Turn right at the top of the stairs. The Fishery is about 150m. ahead  just past the flashing crosswalk signage at 151 Lower Ganges Rd. (where Lower Ganges Rd. intersects with Rainbow Rd.).
